Ride for Children of Prisoners
Saturday, June 25, 2011
Be part of a ride that changes children’s lives!
Why the name COPS? COPS is an acronym for Children Of Prisoners and this event is about raising support and bringing awareness to this population of children.
- Did you know there are 15,000 children in Minnesota that have an incarcerated parent?
- 60-80 percent of them will follow in their parents footsteps and enter a life of crime.
- By preventing just one child from entering prison, the savings to society are two million dollars!
